New Beginnings by Megan Keith

Starting over in a new city brings new challenges …

The whirlwind romance Seth had with Emma may have been short-lived, but that doesn’t mean their break-up was any less difficult. Letting go of her is proving to be harder than Seth anticipated.

In the midst of his new job, new routine, and a new circle of friends, he meets the beautiful and feisty, Bianca. His head tells him he wants nothing more than friendship from her, but his heart soon proves to have other ideas. The problem with that is Bianca makes it abundantly clear she wants nothing more than friendship from him.

Is Seth letting his feelings take him down the painful road to heartache again? Or will it turn out to be the best move of his life?

PLEASE NOTE: This is the third book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. This book is for mature 18+ readers as it contains explicit sex scenes and adult themes.

Amanda's Review:

You know how sometimes when you see someone, sitting down holding a phone, iPad or book, who has this big goofy grin on their face and you wonder what it is that they're reading..well when I was reading certain pages of New Beginnings, in a waiting area that had a few strangers there, I couldn't keep the smile off my face. I may even have laughed out loud a couple of times. The quick wit, humor and flirtation shared between the two main characters was just magic, casting a spell over me that made it impossible not to be drawn in by them.

I've read the other two books in the series and Seth is huge part of the the first one, but this book just made me love him even more. His character was a little more daring and on the cheekier side then it had been before, which I think can be accredited to the beautiful relationship formed between him and Bianca. Megan Keith has done a terrific job writing their relationship so that it felt natural and was full of the perfect amount of chemistry.

Not to be outdone in the humour department were the secondary characters of the story. Scar, Bianca's boss and friend, was edgy, smart and hilarious, who always said exactly what she thought. Johnno and the boys were also awesome characters that made me smile and laugh a lot.

This story did have a couple of moments that were a little sad, but for the most part it was a great uplifting read. If you're after a book, that has a great story and romance plus will make you laugh out loud, then New Beginnings is definitely one that should be added to your TBR lists. I also recommend you add the first two in the series as well, but this book can be read as a standalone.
