Fade to Red by Willow Aster

Dancing in pop superstar Beckham Woods' entourage was the last thing Roxie wanted. Her life with little Leo was blissfully ordinary; she didn't have time for the drama that stirring up old memories would surely cause.

But when Roxie took a spot on an international tour with Woods and rock icon Ian Sterling, the lure of financial security and her passion for dance pulled her into an emotional storm that threatened to spin out of control and hurt the ones she loved most.

Just as she began to adjust to her new life, it became apparent that danger was in the shadows, waiting for a chance to move...

***Fade to Red is a standalone novel featuring characters from True L̶o̶v̶e̶ Story.***

I am a huge fan of Willow Aster and have loved all her books. I was so excited to hear she was bringing out a new book, especially when Ian and Sparrow from True Love story would make an appearance in it. Once again, Willow didn't disappoint. Fade To Red was a different style from her other books, with lots of suspense and twists and turns that had me guessing right till the end.
Single mother, Roxie joins rock star Beckham on his up coming tour as a dancer and their chemistry is instant. Beckham is completely taken with her, but little does he know, he has already met her previously. Roxie keeps this to herself and tries to keep her distance from Beckham, but their connection is undeniable. Beckham is touring with Ian Sterling (from True Love Story), and can I say, I love that Willow has brought these characters back for her fans. Ian is a lot of readers' favourite book boyfriend, so I know it meant a lot to all of us to be able to read about them in Fade To Red.
Roxie is a great character. She's a strong, independent, single mother that won't let anyone walk over her or interfere in her sons life. I love that Beckham wants her so bad, but Roxie won't let him in, she's stubborn and a great character to read.
As for the suspense, I can't mention much at all, as I don't want to spoil it, but I was surprised by certain twists during the book, that I'd love a re-read so i can pick up on the hints that I missed.
If you love a romance book that has that extra pull that draws you in from the start. I highly recommend Fade To Red.
Loved it and I give it 5 HUGE stars!
